Pelvic Floor Therapy

Patients who suffer from pelvic floor dysfunctions are often unaware that physical therapy can help alleviate their condition.  In fact, this inexpensive conservative treatment offers a success rate of 60-80%.  Patients can avoid expensive surgery and improve the quality of their lives. 

Successful patients are able to return to normal functional, social, and sexual activities.  Elderly patients who benefit from this program enhance their chances of avoiding nursing home care and staying in a home setting.  Patients who have undergone a surgical procedure such as a hysterectomy, prostectomy, caesarian section or vaginal delivery can also benefit from this program.

About Our Pelvic Floor Therapist

Joanne Gryski, MHS/PT is the director and owner of CPT.  She holds an Advanced Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and has received specialized training in the Pelvic Floor Program.  She has 21 years experience working in physical therapy and is affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association.  Joanne provides one-on-one treatment for patients receiving pelvic floor treatment with sensitivity and confidentiality.
